Bibiani based leading charitable foundation, Ohemaah Afriyie foundation, has donated football equipment to Bibiani Goldstars sporting club before their premier league match against Olympics.
The football equipment’s included footballs, two set of Jerseys and eleven set of boots.
It is envisioned that Goldstars being the only premier league club in the region and at the same time fighting for the top flight’s league survival-the donation will help to motivate them to achieve their targets.
At the handing over ceremony, the Chief Executive officer of Goldstars, Akwasi Adu acknowledged Ohemaah Afriyie’s foundation contributions towards development of football in the region. He further assured the foundation’s team of the Miners readiness to fight for survival in the Ghana premier league.
Ms. Regina Afriyie Nyamekye, who’s the Patron of the Ohemaah Afriyie’s foundation also reiterated her desire to support sports development and the less privileged in the region.
Ohemaah Afriyie Foundation is a registered young charitable foundation in Bibiani with the aim of helping the vulnerable in the western North region and beyond in building the capacities of the youth in sports, supporting the aged in diverse ways, creating a future for school dropouts and women empowerment.
