The honourable Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu is demanding urgent action to address the acute water shortages in the Tamale Metropolis.
In a brief statement on the floor of parliament, the MP for Tamale South explained that the challenge has put hospitals and schools, especially in Tamale, under significant stress.
He called for a resolution to bring some relief to the members of the community.
There were other legislatures who also raised similar concerns in the house.
MP for Bodi, Samson Ahi also urged the National Security and the Ministry for Sanitation and Water Resources to move in with water tankers to serve the community.
