Pedro Rodriguez came on as a substitute in the second league of the UEFA champions league at Camp Nou as his side were eliminated through goals from Lionel messi and Ousmane Dembele

The ex-Barcelona player replaced Eden Hazard in the 82nd minute of the match at a time the game was almost over for the London Club.

The Spanish attacker believes his side did what they could.

The player made these remarks through his Instagram account.

“We have fought until the end, but we couldn’t get a place on the next round

The player urges his side to keep their heads up and focus on the next game.

Let’s keep heads up and focus on the next game. Come on blues.”

The champions could be without champions league football next season if they fail to improve their premier league form as they sit on 5th on the league table

Chelsea’s next outing is in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup against Leicester city at the king power stadium on Sunday.

The FA cup remains the only chance for Chelsea to win a silver this season.
