South African giants Kaizer Chiefs have terminated the appointment of head coach Gavin Hunt.
The Premier Soccer league side made the announcement via club’s official Twitter handle:
“Kaizer Chiefs have terminated Coach Gavin Hunt’s contract with immediate effect. The statement read.
Assistant Coaches Arthur Zwane and Dillion Sheppard will take charge of the team on interim basis.
Grant was appointed seven months ago as a replacement for Ernst Middendorp, guiding the club to CAF champions league semifinal.
However, they are 11th in the DSTv Premiership, having lost 10 of their 28 games so far this season.
