Mariano Bareto, Samuel Boadu, Yaw Preko and Prosper Narteh Ogum have been shortlisted for the Premier League Coach of the Month Award for the month of May.
The four coaches guided their respective teams to perform impressively in the month.
The winner Nasco Premier League Coach of the Month- May will also be announced on Friday, June 25 live on GFA News.
Winner of each category will receive a Nasco television set, a Nasco men’s grooming set and a personalised trophy by Nasco.
Mariano Barreto – Asante Kotoko
The Portuguese is yet to taste a defeat in the month under review. Winning three out of the six matches (P6 W3 D3 L0). This statistics put the porcupine warriors second on the league level on points with Heats at the top.
Samuel Boadu- Hearts of Oak
Samuel Boadu has the most wins amongst the four coaches in the month under review. Winning five with one defeat (P6 W5 D0 L1). The outstanding performance puts Hearts on the league summit.
Yaw Preko- Medeama SC
Yaw Preko has tasted one defeat out of six fixtures. Placing him as strong contender for the award (P6 W4 D1 L1). Fourth on the league log-same points as Karela United
Prosper Narteh Ogum – WAFA
The only coach to have played five matches from the four in the month under review. Seventh on the league with 43 points- yet to taste a defeat in those five matches (P5 W4 L0 D1)
