Liverpool star Sadio Mane has donated around $700,000 US dollars to help in building a new hospital in a town of Bambali, in Senegal.
The small village of Bambali, where Mane was born, did not have a hospital before, and the Senegalese forward decided to pay tribute to his hometown by constructing this new social project.
The 29-year old has previously donated $350,000 US dollars to build a school in the town with the construction of the hospital the second major project from the attacker.
Mane met last week with the president of the Republic of Senegal, H.E Mackey Sall to discuss about the project sustainability.
The Senegalese captain joined Liverpool from Southampton in June 2016. Winning the English premier league, the UEFA champions league, UEFA super cup and FIFA club world cup.
He was named CAF player of the year 2019.
