Thomas Partey says he takes full responsibility after dashing back from the African Cup of Nations only to be sent off in Arsenal’s Carabao Cup semi-final defeat by Liverpool last month, admitting ‘I should be more intelligent.’
Partey’s Ghana suffered a shock group-stage exit at the hands of Comoros on Tuesday, and he flew back to London from Cameroon immediately, heading straight to the Arsenal team hotel to make himself available for the second leg at Emirates stadium.
