The Baba Yara sports stadium in Kumasi is expected to be filled as Ghana clash with rival Nigeria on Friday night.
This comes after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) approved Ghana’s request to admit 40,000 spectators for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 play-off first leg match.
Silversportsgh.com sources can confirm that over 20,000 tickets have been sold with the VIP tickets first to be sold out.
The tickets were put on sale on Wednesday with 5000 tickets allocated to the VIP stand.
With a sitting capacity of 40,473, football fans are only left with the popular stand seating options.
Meanwhile, fans would have to adhere to the designated spectator and stakeholders entry points and gates for verification of their tickets.
