The Ghana ministry of Youth and Sports have sent in a goodwill message to the Black Stars of Ghana ahead of the world cup play-off matches.
Expectations are high as Black Stars face their biggest test in the final qualifying lap as they battle rivals the Super Eagles of Nigeria on a double-header fixture with the first leg at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi tomorrow.
The Black Stars financier issued this statement;
“The ministry of youth and sports sends it heartfelt felicitations to the Black Stars ahead of their decisive encounter against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the double headed play-off for the 2022 FIFA world cup.”
“The team is encourage to put up a fighting spirit as it is anticipated that the match will be a tough one. Knowing the passion that the citizens carry the game of football, it is believed that the team will not disappoint in the double header and are entreated to secure a place for the world cup in Qatar later this year.”
The reverse fixture will be at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja on Tuesday 29 March 2022.
