Ghana Black Princesses have sealed qualification to the U-20 world cup in Costa Rica after 2-1 victory over Ethiopia at the Accra sports stadium this afternoon.
Salamatu Abdulai gave the Princesses a deserving lead when she scored in the second minute. The national U-20 side continued the pressure with Hasaacas lady’s striker Doris Boaduwaa going close.
Suzzy Dede Teye had a chance to extend Ghana’s lead but failed to score.
However, Salamatu Abdulai was on target again after connecting to Cecilia Nyame’s pass to double the Princesses lead.
Ethiopia pulled one back before the break but could not break down the Princess who completed the game with 10 players.
A dominant two legs means that the Princesses qualifiers to the world cup in Costa Rica after 5-1 on aggregate win.
