The Reigning 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC will face Nigerian side Remo Stars in the first preliminary round of CAF Champions League.
This was revealed at the draw of the CAF inter-club competitions which took place at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Tuesday, July 25.
The Mauve and Yellow club will open its debut in the biggest club competition at the Cape Coast Stadium when they hosts Remo Stars before travelling to Nigeria for the second leg.
The preliminary round is scheduled from Friday, August 18 to 20 for the first leg matches while the second leg matches will be played from August 25 to 27.
The second preliminary encounters are scheduled for September 15 to 17 and September 19 to October 1, 2023.
The winner of this tie will play against Guinean side Horoya AC in the second preliminary round.
