Ghana premier league side FC Samartex 1996 have emerged as the Supporters of the Season in the prestigious Ghana Football Association Awards.
The betPawa Premier League side beat off competition to secure the honor having served an enchanting match day experiences at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex in their debut campaign.
Baba Hamadu Musa also won the Top Scorer and Best Player of Division One accolades at the awards night.
Three Western Region clubs were in contention for the award; Medeama Sporting Club and Bibiani Gold Stars failed to make the mark as Samartex proved superior in the process.
